  • I’d respectfully disagree that Albania is an ideal dental tourism destination for everyone. While it offers excellent value, US patients in particular may find that travel logistics outweigh the savings, since there are no direct flights and the journey often takes 12+ hours each way through a European layover. Add in airfare, accommodation, time off work, and follow-up visits, and the savings shrink fast. In my experience, Albania works best for patients from nearby European countries like Italy and Germany, where direct, low-cost flights make the trip quick and easy to repeat. For those coming from farther away, like North America, access to timely aftercare matters most, especially for implants or multi-stage treatments needing return visits. Ultimately, the best choice depends less on price alone and more on whether the full travel and recovery plan realistically fits.
